BCP 2.0 and the University

It's like a gift from the heavens! BCP 2.0 is a model that will change many things, but what's more important then life? RecoveryPlanner.com has the privilege of serving one of the most prestigious technical universities in the country as our latest client (to remain anonymous until the press release). While it's great to have a big name select you, it's even better to have them select you for the right reasons.

"Real-time integration can save lives." That basically sums up the reason for BCP 2.0. In a university setting we have thousands of kids with email addresses, cell phone numbers, IM handles and addresses. This is no different from any other population, the difference with the 18-21 year old set is that these may change every 3 days!

Through real-time integration of their HR and student management systems the school was able to keep the BCP environment in RecoveryPlanner.com's RPX up to date within a 1 minute window. That is amazing! One could easily imagine a system having 10%-20% wrong information and those errors leading to some very bad outcomes.

This is the kind of stuff that gets me out of bed in the morning! It is just stupidly exciting when you see an application that is so fundamentally improved that lives are potentially saved. Very, very cool!
